Take That Sings Title Song for ‘Three Musketeers’ Film

BERLIN – Brit pop band Take That will deliver the title song, When We Were Young, for Paul W.S. Andersons 3D swashbuckler The Three Musketeers. The song is the final track on Take Thats hit comeback albumn Progress/Progressed, which has already sold more than 2 milion copies worldwide. Universal Music will release When We Were Young as a single in August, timed to the bow of Three Musketeers, which premieres in Germany Sept. 1.

Andersons reboot of the Alexandre Dumas classic stars Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans as the musketeers, Mads Mikkelsen as their arch enemy Rochefort, Christoph Waltz as Cardinal Richelieu, Milla Jovovich as Mlady de Winter, Freddie Fox as King Louis the 13th and Orlando Bloom as the Duke of Buckingham.

This is the second big movie single for Take That this year. The five-man former boy band of Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen also supplied the song Love Lost for Matthew Vaughns X-Men: First Class.
