I’m puzzled: Jessica Simpson, proud mother of a baby girl, Maxwell Drew has just announced that she’s expanding into bridal design. Because, you see, she’s getting ready for her big day with fiancé Eric Johnson (former NFL player). Naturally, she wants to share her joy with the world by creating all kinds of wedding dresses for all kinds of body shapes and tastes.

Now I began by saying that I’m puzzled. Why? Because, you see, Jessica Simpson is getting ready for her 2nd “big day”, being previously married to Nick Lachey (from 2002 to 2005). Shocking reports state that the iconic wedding dresses ( more) designer, Vera Wang just announced her separation from husband of 23 years, Arthur Becker. Some asked if this will affect her bridal line’s sales. I say: who even cares she’s getting divorced as long as A – to – Z listers get married in her designs?

(answer: we care. Because we know. And we also know that Jessica Simpson is at her 2nd big day dress. Combine the two and get a new “inside” question: does it take a divorce to make a good wedding dress?)
