Do you remember the rumors and speculations implying that der Kaiser was preparing some kind of immaculate perfume for women (or not) which was supposed to smell like paper? Rumors which were immediately shut down by the designer’s people?

Well, another set of free talks was launched, saying that Karl Lagerfeld, is indeed preparing a perfume for women. Set to launch this very September, the fragrance, with floral notes (violet, patchouli, freesia, heliotrope, benzoin) is named Karleidoscope. Wait, what? (then again, Kapsule rings any bells? It’s Lagerfeld’s first foray into widely commercial perfumeland. Kool, right?)
