It has been nearly three years since Michelle Williams released her third studio album, Unexpected, which of course went unnoticed (shade, but no shade).
With her former Destinys Child groupmates dominating musicBeyonces doing what Beyonce does; and Kelly Rowlands single Motivation has been reigning the top spot on the R&B charts for over 4 weeks (yay Kelly!)it only makes sense for little Michelle to make another effort (and I do mean effort) at finding success through her solo career.
This time around, the singer is staying in her dance music lane, but adding an element of hope. “My album will be ‘inspirational pop.’ Think of Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ or Natasha Beddingfeld’s ‘Unwritten.’ I want to give people a message of hope while at the same time get them moving with dance inspired tracks,” the singer told ConcreteLoop.com.
So whats her latest? The Druski produced Love Gun, touted a buzz single for the album which will be released late this year.
