Um, the kids are definitely not all right in FTPs Helena Beat vid. Juvie madness!
The handsome trio of Foster the People are one of this summers breakout hits. Their tune Pumped Up Kicks is definitely one of the seasons big tunes, their shows are selling out all over, their album Torches is out and its major, and it looks like its just gonna keep coming on strong from these SoCal lads, Mark, Mark and Cubbie.
And now, get your best Mad-Max mojo ready for the video for Helena Beat. As the guys told MTV News: Its like a short film, really. Its post-apocalyptic, Lord of the Flies meets Mad Max, so, its a bunch of kids, and they kidnap us and take us into this warehouse, and theres a really crazy twist at the end. But its super-visual, and its a mixture of really, like, bizarre circumstances — its dark, but its also pretty tongue-in-cheek and fun.
Get all that? Have a look and see for yourself!
Need more FTP? Their bloggy journal is full of road pics from the guys. Im crushing, hugely.
Apparently FTPs Mark Pontius is indifferent to the Houston Astros.
And did you know they remixed Gagas Edge of Glory? Well They did.
