Written by admin on December 21, 2011 – 3:14 pmSalisbury in Wiltshire is considered a classic medieval city. It was sometimes called New Sarum time as a way to set it aside from the prior community, which was at north of the city, Old Sarum. Lady GaGa Falls OnStage
Written by Zoe Humffray on December 15, 2011 – 6:25 am
Its customary for actors to say break a leg to one another before a show as its part of a tradition but Lady Gaga did one better and almost broke her neck when she fell off her piano during one of her wild performances.
The video of the accident shows Gaga singing and performing as usual when she starts to stand up on the piano and stool while wearing a bikini and high heels.

Karl Lagerfeld’s Affordable Collection, Karl, Launches Online January 25
Written by Tristan Arndell on December 8, 2011 – 2:16 amBecause a fashion designer has a lot of time on his / her hands, Karl Lagerfeld has joined Europe’s biggest tech conference, Le Web, to talk about (what else) his upcoming fashion label / collection. Symbolically named “Karl”, the new brand is supposed to be a more affordable approach of Karl Lagerfeld’s fashion, seriously spiced with leather and rock’n’roll charm. (although judging from the video alone, with no other information to tie things together, I’d swear it was a shampoo ad!)
Although not much was revealed about the actual collection, Karl Lagerfeld did say he carries 4 iPhones, 20 to 30 iPads and numerous iPods with him. On all times. (whaaa?). Oh, anyway, we know as much as $236, the price of a Karl leather jacket (the collection will sell exclusively online)! And we also know this: “We will make fashion and technology history.”. Consider yourselves warned!

With pleasing menu, Red’s is a slam dunk
Written by Zoe Humffray on December 5, 2011 – 8:29 pmAfter admiring the gleaming Jaguars, Triumphs, MGs and Morgans arrayed at Marine Park in Falmouth, and spending some time just soaking up the beautiful day, we headed for Red’s Restaurant and Lounge at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel.
Under new ownership since 2010, the property has undergone a $15 million renovation, and its restaurant is named in honor of legendary Boston Celtics coach Red Auerbach, one of the hotel’s owners back in the ’60s.
We entered by the back door, so to speak, past the poolside bar and dining deck that surely will close soon for the season — although the deck was still open Thanksgiving week.
A hostess guided us to a table in the three-season room, with screened windows allowing a million-dollar view of Buzzards Bay.
